Whether you have run before and are a bit rusty or have never run before in your life then you are equally welcome. If you have never run before then you should check with your doctor before trying the club.
If you contact us before you come then we will always make sure that there is a member available to mentor you through your first session – this will normally consist of a little bit of jogging and a lot more walking! Learning to run is mostly about training your body to understand what is required of it at a nice slow pace….speed will come later!
We have a group specifically for beginners and novices on a Wednesday evening. You are also welcome to come on a Saturday morning but Sunday mornings are when our members usually enjoy a longer run.
