Can I enter on the day?
Yes, you will be most welcome. Costs £7 and is open between 9am and 10.30am. Please come early if possible and unfortunately we will not be able to except entries after 10.30am.
Our two “Registration Teams” can be found in the “Big Blue Gazebo”
Can I enter Online?
Sorry, online entry closed at midday on Saturday 27th August
I have entered online (from 20th august), Where do I pick up my number?
Please collect from Ross at our Information Point situated next to the Purbeck Sports Stall. (before 10.30am please!)
Please do not ask the on the day Registration team as they do not have the pre-registered numbers
Can I enter in advance by Post?
With less than a week to go, unfortunately Postal Entry has closed. Why not enter online?
How do I get there?

Where do I park?
Parking is FREE for all runners in a dedicated area of the Main Car Park, and volunteer Air Cadets will direct you to the correct Car Park.
Where is Registration and Information?
Not far from the Car Parking and will be well directed.
You can park ALL DAY for FREE and enjoy the beach or the stunning Coastal & Heath Walks. Parking is always at a premium in Studland!
Can I bring the family and friends?
Absolutely!
Entry is free to the fair for all the family and all your friends too!
There is a Bar, Barbecue, Children’s Inflatable Slides, Healing Hooves, Quad Bikes, Darts Tournament, a Car Boot Sale and more!
Why not make it a weekend and came along to the Country Fair on Saturday
Where can I get information from on the day?
There will be an Information Point with a unique and very special Course Map situated next to the Purbeck Sports Stall.
We would very much appreciate if you would ask our information team (Ross, Christine & Tish) rather than the Registration Team at their desk, who will be very busy processing late entries! Many thanks!
What’s the course like?
It’s a totally off-road course along trails & sandy tracks. It is not too hilly, but has little up & down sections at times. There are two slightly steeper descents, which will be clearly signed. Please take care, as this is off-road terrain! The area is beautiful & the views fantastic!
We have a great team of Marshalls who will allow you to run the route without the fear of getting lost.
Start & Finish?
The START will be be as in 2009 in Wadmore Lane
It will be well directed.
We have had to move it from last year due to “grass cultivation for Horses”
The FINISH is in the main showground! You won’t be able to miss it as we have the Purbeck Runners Finish Sign adorning it!
What about water?
Bottles of water will be available for all runners at the finish
What else do we get when we finish?
A nice engraved Medal and a Goody Bag including a Cake from Jessica!

Can I get any last minute kit?
Yes, you can! We are delighted to welcome Roger of Purbeck Sports who will be selling a wide range of running gears, gels etc, and many fantastic special offers.
Are there distance makers?
There will be kilometre distance markers at 1, 2, 3, & 4 km.
Are refreshments available?
There is food and drink available including a bar and Barbecue!
What else can I do whilst I’m there?
Enjoy the gorgeous Studland Beaches or the lovely walks to Old Harry Rocks.
Toilets?
There will be around 15 toilets available to use on the day. These are situated in the “Fairground” near to the finish!
When is the prize giving?
In the main arena at around 12 midday! Please listen out to Ross the PA announcer for confirmation!
Prizes will be given out for the first three Ladies, Men, Boys, Girls (both 15 years & under), and the first Veteran
What’s the “Runners Raffle”?
Following the popularity of our special Runners Raffle we will be doing it again this year!
Unlike last year you will be given a Raffle Ticket equivalent to your Race Finish Position. After the Prize have been given out we will have a special raffle and you will be need the ticket you have been given to enter!
We have over SEVENTY PRIZES!!
NB You will need to be at the prize giving to WIN! If the winner is not there or you do not have your ticket, we will dip into the “hat” again!
Why not stay around after the Prize-Giving to enjoy the Barbecue and all the attractions of the Fair!
When will the results be out?
Should be out on Sunday 28th or Monday 29th August on www.purbeckrunners.co.uk
Are there photos of the event?
