The sessions are open to children and young people aged 9 or above who can run for at least 2km without stopping. The maximum distance covered in a session is approximately 5k. The aim of all sessions is to encourage participants to adopt healthy lifestyles and have fun in a safe environment.

Occasionally junior club championship races and time trials may be held instead of run training. Participants are required to wear high viz clothing and this is compulsory when running on dark evenings.
